A. Gage - fought Boer War, one of volunteers sent to guard the streets in the 1902 coronation. Wounded WW1
I Cooper - fought Boer War & was regarded as a father by the volunteers
E Stephenson - fought & wounded in WW1. Three years without leave. Previously worked in Times office.
JW Ringrose - fought Boer War
R Roe - fought Boer War
JW Rawlinson - Joined 1867. Grocer, Driffield. Died 1916.
J Mortimer - Of Mortimer & Co, corn factors & maltsters. Capt of Battalion in Boer War. Killed in action WW1 Sept

R Warcup - fought Boer War
Barker (2 of them fought Boer War, assume this is one. Difficult without first initial)
